Generators

Diesel generators can be used to provide power to sites where there is no mains supply. They are also used as an emergency power supply in the event of a mains failure which would result in loss of material or data. Generators can be used in single run application or synchronised together to provide large amounts of electricity in one place. They can also be used in what is known as peak load shaving when they are connected to the grid and provide additional power when the load on the system is very high.
